Lagos Water Corporation was at it again with their unstable water supply…on stepping out in search of water, I found a few Hausa Men with water in black Jerry Cans supplying water to my neighbors so I asked one to follow me. On filling my empty buckets, he swiftly asked for my number and my name to save it. I told him to save it with “G” as I thought there was no way he was going to remember “Given” considering the fact that he could hardly communicate even in pidgin. I almost forgot to add that he introduced himself as Musa.
Fast forward to the next day at some minutes to 7am, Musa called to inform me that he was at my gate with water if I needed fresh supply. It hit me a few minutes after our transaction; this was Musa with no form of education whatsoever not to talk of any degree in Business Administration engaging the strategy of seeking customers and establishing customer relationship. He offered me premium water delivery service and was at my doorstep every morning, ready to sell until Lagos Water Corporation resumed from their break.
